The Devon Association for Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus was set up in January 2001. The purpose of this Association is to offer help and advice to people with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus and, where necessary, their families.
We as an Association also realise that help is also needed outside the family unit such as for instance in school, the workplace or even a social club.
The Association is run by a management committee of up to eleven people nearly all of whom are affected in one way or the other by Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus which means that we are able to call on our own experiences as well as a great deal of professional information when asked for help and advice.
